BLUTH FAMILY: VITAE POMERANORUM
An important resource for information on the ancestry of many Pomeranian individuals is the "Vitae Pomeranorum" or "Lives of Pomerania," by Augustin von Balthasar.  This collection of over 160 volumes of material, held at the Universitätsbibliothek Greifwald (Greifswald University Library), has never been published, although it is available on microfilm.
A name index was prepared by Dr. Edmund Lange, entitled "Die Greifswalder Sammlung Vitae Pomeranorum," which appeared in Baltische Studien in 1898 and supplemented in 1905, and is available here:
